Intro Post?

cmdonovannOkay, so, I deleted all my old Dreamwidth posts because I had not, at the time I wrote them, figured out what I wanted to do with Dreamwidth. To be completely honest, I still haven't figured out what I want to do with Dreamwidth, but I figure if anyone finds my page on here, I should at least have one post saying who I am and where else to find me. So that's what this is.
WHO THE FUCK AM I?
Good question. Mostly I'm just some guy who does art and stuff on the internet. I like talking about video games and being gay about time travel. You know how it is. At this point, I'm probably most well-known for being The Quantum Break Guy. I've written a lot of Quantum Break fanfic (and am always thinking about writing more), draw tons of fanart, and run a smallish Discord server for it (email me for an invite link if you want to join).
SIDENOTE: WHAT'S QUANTUM BREAK?
Quantum Break (2016) is a video game released by Finnish game company Remedy Entertainment and Microsoft. Its narrative primarily follows Jack Joyce, a man who returns to his hometown for the first time in years to help an old friend, Paul Serene, with a project... which turns out to be a time machine experiment that goes terribly wrong. I could say more about its story, but what's the fun in finding out about it from a Dreamwidth post? Either play it yourself (highly recommend) or watch a playthrough on YouTube (you can ask me to recommend my faves of these if you like, I have several).

Hah, okay, sure, I can list some of my interests too. That's a thing people do in intro posts, right? I spend a lot of time in fandom spaces and am pretty interested in fandom history. I'm interested in fandom archival stuff, though I don't know a lot about it yet. I like zines, I've made a few (see itch.io link in next section). As far as fandoms I'm actually in, Quantum Break is the main one, though I'm known to dabble in Fire Emblem Three Houses, the Ace Attorney trilogy, Homestuck, Star Trek TOS, furry fandom, Skyrim, D&D, and a few others that are too minor to list. My non-fandom interests are varied. I do bookbinding (though this is technically a fandom one, as I do ficbinding too). I collect and polish rocks, minerals, and fossils, and I read a lot about geology (primarily the geology of the Great Lakes), ecology, biology, and art history (mainly focused on the Ancient Near East and Ancient Mediterranean). I occasionally write original fiction, though I haven't shared any of it yet. I make my own soap due to my weird allergies. I make a LOT of bread. I'm interested gardening. I'd like to keep bees and chickens someday (maybe soon). I sometimes make and modify my own clothes. I crochet. And of course, I do art of various kinds, digital and traditional.

Yeah, fair enough. I'm mostly on Tumblr right now, though I used to use Twitter a lot. My AO3 is a good place to check out if you want to observe me being insane about Quantum Break in a more controlled fashion. (I run a Quantum Break discord server too, which you can join here.) I also have a neocities website, which I try to update occasionally but which mostly suffers from "I want to do so much with this but can't figure out how to get started so I just put off updates for ages until I get frustrated about it and make a bunch of small but uninspired changes before going back to overthinking my code again" disease. I run a shop on Ko-Fi that has various stuff I make. I used to make a lot of zines, and I'm trying to start doing those again. Oh, and I'm on FurAffinity sometimes too.
